Manatee County School District

In the Manatee County School district the schools are under a program called School Choice. School Choice is a local, state, and national effort to meet individual needs of students enrolled in public schools. Manatee County School Choice is an opportunity for elementary school students to attend any school in their Cluster and middle school students to attend any school in their Region, including Magnet Schools, that are not critically overcrowded or approaching the criteria for overcrowded. High school students may apply to attend any high school in the district. High school students  may not participate in Choice after they begin 10th grade.
